Today I reviewed my message center in DA and I found that somebody who's nickname is insulted me after looking at my drawing "It's Sakura" [link] telling me that I believe that I got talent and she called me stupid

I don't know which intentions had her with that, that was one of my first drawings and I know it's ugly, but it hurts when somebody comes to insult me beacuse of a technique which I don't use anymore

Please don't misunderstand me, critique will always be welcome in my gallery, but I'm sad because of somebody called me stupid and she thinks that I blindly believe that I got talent when it's not like that, I've always thought that much artist draw thousands of times better than me, but seriously: Do you think I insult the characters I draw in my fanarts? (please be sincere)

No sé qué intenciones tenía con eso, ese fue uno de mis primeros dibujos y sé que se ve feo, pero me duele y me hace sentir rabia que alguien llegue a agredirme por una técnica que ya no uso

No me malinterpreten, la crítica siempre será bienvenida en mis dibujos, pero me molestó mucho que alguien me llame tonto y que piense que yo me creo que tengo talento cuando no es así, siempre he considerado que muchos artistas dibujan mucho mejor que yo y lo reconozco, pero sinceramente: ¿Creen que yo insulto a los personajes que yo dibujo en mis fanarts? (por favor sean sinceros)

Yes, I'm back from my trip to the United States (in fact I came back on saturday, but I was so tired that I preferred to type this journal until now).

Basically it was a nice trip, sadly my mom couldn't go because she was afraid about the earthquake, anyway we didn't flew directly to Los Angeles, we had to make a connection in Dallas, it wasn't bad at all, it was my first time in Dallas, in fact it was my first time in in Texas we took some time to look at the stores in the airport before taking our flight to LAX.

In Los Angeles we arrived until the night to take the Prime Time van to Anaheim, we arrived at night, but we had time to eat at Denny's and walk through Anaheim Gardenwalk, it's a really nice place next day we ate breakfast at IHOP as other mornings

At NAMM show we had a lot of work to do, it was kinda tired cause we had to walk and walk and walk a lot, but it was nice to talk to some people I hadn't seen since 2 years ago when I went for last time, I took a picture with Iron Maiden's drummist (I don't remember his name ), i have it on my cel phone, but I don't know how to download it from phone's memory T_T Some known people invited us to dinner at Hilton hotel, it was great, but sadly no crab salad this time T3T. Next day we had half a day to work and after that we went to Disneyland and California Adventure, I finally could ride "Space Mountain" it was great the last time we couldn't cause it broke down when we rode few meters XP

On Sunday we flew to Miami where we had to visit some other providors and stay at an aunt's house (like we always do everytime we go to Miami for business or vacation) for the rest of the week, we had very few time to shop, but I got a couple of Shonen Jump issues there, a Sakura (Naruto) Plushie and the first volume of "the Third" DVD at FYE

By the way, the weather was totally inverted as I expected, while it was so hot in Anaheim, I was freezing in Miami, except the two last days, but I expected all the opposite.

I'll see if I upload pics of the trip in the next days, for now I'll see if I finish my "Barradio" project this week.

Tomorrow I'll be flying to Los Angeles to go with my parents and big brother to the NAMM show in Anaheim it's basically a business travel where I'll help my father in his business

Then we'll go to Miami some days later to do something similar with some local providors

I'm not really sure about if my mom's gonna go since she's scared because of the past thursday's earthquake which sadly killed more than 20 people here in Costa Rica and doesn't want to leave my little siblings alone (not that alone cause there will be known people around here like my grandparents)

I'm not sure if I'll find a PC to connect there, but maybe there could be one in the hotel thought perhaps it's not free at all, but I'll see

By the way, the "Barradio" project must wait cause there are some little details left and I'll come back next sunday (not this one coming, but the other) to hopefully finish it.
